How to use spinxr.com
Follow the guide outlined here.
Enter a nine-digit share key to watch a video, spinxr.com will automatically load.
When you enter a nine-digit share key to a SPIN, spinxr.com will first load a grid layout of the available videos. From there you can choose which video or Story to view. (SPINs can house both individual videos and Stories. For more information about the difference between a SPIN and a Story, go here.)
When you enter a video or Story, you'll notice that that a webplayer appears. It may appear similar to the YouTube and Facebook 360 video players, but what makes spinxr.com different is the ability to click on intractable objects and hotspots within the video.
Sharing SPINXR videos
Embedding into a webpage
It is possible to embed videos hosted on SPINXR into any website. Simply use the iframe tag and insert spinxr.com URL, as demonstrated here:
<iframe src="https://spinxr.com/Q9P-PJF-FR9/play" height="100%" width="100%" </iframe>
SPINXR is a window-responsive player that streams on all devices, including iOS smartphones and tablets.
Sending links in an email
The best way to send someone a SPINXR link that directly loads the video is to give them a link that has the share key embedded in it. For instance, if you send a spinxr URL with the share key appended to the end, it will automatically launch the playback of the video or playlist: https://spinxr.com/Q9P-PJF-FR9/play
Viewing SPINXR on touchscreen devices
Many touchscreen devices today have a bit of hardware that can tell which way the device is facing and turning. SPINXR is able to take advantage of this hardware perk and allows you to use your smartphone, tablet, or device as a "magic window" and physically pan your screen through the immersive environment. By default, on iOS devices, this setting is turned off, but can be turned via the instructions here.
